USCG Captain Noah Humfeld has been guiding since 2015, chasing everything from panfish to monster muskies. Noah grew up fishing the shores of the Madison Chain with his friends, which later grew into something more competitive, leading him to pursue tournament fishing. Noah founded the UW-Platteville Bass Fishing Team and competed at the collegiate level for two years before changing his focus to the professional walleye tournament world. Having a solid tournament fishing background made for a natural transition to guiding. The only passion deeper than his love of fishing, is that of teaching. Noah prides himself on making sure his customers have a fun, safe, and educational day on the water. With an average of 200+ days/year spent on the water; Noah is always on the fish. Whether you are new to fishing or are a seasoned veteran, Noah has something to offer anglers of all skill levels. Noah also shares his passion and knowledge by speaking at sports shows, fishing clubs, as well as on the Madison Angling YouTube channel. Noah specializes in the Madison Chain of Lakes, which offer an incredibly diverse fishery. Not only is the Madison Chain a fantastic Panfish, Bass, and Walleye fishery, it is also quickly becoming a hot destination for chasing monster Muskies. Additionally, Noah also guides seasonally on the lower Wisconsin River, as well as Lake Michigan. A guide trip with Noah is more than just a fishing trip – it’s a full experience learning techniques, ecology, and breaking down water to help give YOU the edge the next time you get out on the water.
